CoaXPress Over Fiber
Kaya Instruments is glad to present our CoaXPress Over Fiber (CoF) Cameras, Frame Grabbers, and FPGA IP, all in stock and available. CoaXPress Over Fiber is an extension of the CoaXPress protocol (including CXP v2.1) to support transport over fiber optics. As its Ethernet cables, connectors and electronics, it allows the transition of massive information using low-cost standard equipment and higher bandwidth. The advantages are many: comfortable cable options, very high data rates, very high performance/cost value, and wide industrial acceptance. Kaya Instruments proudly presents the new generation Cameras, Frame Grabbers, and FPGA IP that are all using CoaXPress Over Fiber interface.
Our new Iron CoaXPress Over Fiber Cameras are compact, high speed, low-cost, low-power global shutter CMOS cameras with a CoaXPress Over Fiber interface that supports high-quality video at advanced rates. These cameras are ideally suited for industrial, defense, and aerospace machine vision systems. As the CoaXPress interface allows high-speed data transmission, faster than other standards, such as Camera Link or GigE Vision, the standard fiber cables make them adaptable and useful for any environment.
Kaya presents CoaXPress Over Fiber Frame Grabbers. Our frame grabbers are complemented by a sophisticated application software package for Windows and Linux OSs. They are easily integrated with the most advanced software libraries, such as Halcon, Matlab, and LabVIEW, which allows seamless custom application development.
Our FPGA IP supports GenICam international standards, providing a generic programming interface for CoaXPress cameras. The FPGA IP Core from KAYA Instruments provides a Multi-link high-performance solution for rate-demanding video applications. Both Host and Device modes of operation are supported. The IP core offers support for the newest and industry-leading Kintex, Virtex, and Zynq FPGAs, including all 7, Ultrascale and Ultrascale+ families from Xilinx, Arria V GX, Arria V GZ, Arria 10, Stratix IV, Stratix V and Stratix 10 FPGAs from Intel (former Altera) and PolarFire from MicroSemi. It incorporates a friendly streaming interface with a highly configurable pixel packer for glueless connection to imaging sensor or user logic.
